Last Chance Saloon and U11 Congress @ Ponteland

The Northumbria Junior Chess Association is holding a chess event on Saturday 28th April at St Mary’s Church Hall, Ponteland from 2pm to 6pm.
This particular event includes two competitions running alongside one another. One, a typical NJCA competition, open to all children of primary school age. The other, a ‘Last Chance Saloon’ which is a chance for any children who have not qualified for the next stage of the UK Chess Challenge (12th May at RGS) with their schools or clubs to get through to this regional event.
In both the Last Chance Saloon and U11 Congress there will be 7 short rounds which will be conducted in accordance with the UK Chess Challenge First Round rules (including points adjudication after 25 minutes).
