2022 / 2023 NJCA Calendar

Work is currently well underway in organising a full calendar of NJCA events to take place during the upcoming 2022 / 2023 academic year. This will hopefully be the first full year of events since Covid.

For those who are new to NJCA chess in the last couple of years, a full calendar involves approximately 5 NJCA Saturday Congress (supplemented by ECF, EPSCA and UK Chess Challenge events which we run on behalf of these organisations).

We hope to have the full calendar confirmed (and available on this site) before the end of the school summer holidays.

NJCA Update

Due to Covid-19 Restrictions on mixing households and school facilities not currently being available for external organisations, we are unable to plan for any face to face NJCA tournaments to take place over the next few months.

However, we are working on ideas to provide online events and will update this website in due course.

We hope all our Northumbria Junior Chess Community is keeping safe and well at this time and look forward to seeing everyone once we are able to do so!
